Now let me come to parties, social gatherings, music, and dance one can witness these in their day to day life. Let me share one incident, one Friday I had to reach somewhere in the evening the timing was 6pm to & 7pm sharp and last entry was allowed till 5:30 pm.   IS ENGLISH STILL A LINKING LANGUAUGE? Well to start this let me take you to my school days, there in some of my classes I came to know the importance of English language, and I was told that to interact with the world you need English, as a mode of communication. But few days back I was interacting with my office colleagues and I was surprised none of us was interacting in our own language, that was just a informal conversation we had that time so, when a came back home that day, I noticed something due to which I am here: I strongly feel that English is not just a linking language anymore it has lot to do with in our career progress and also to symbolise we actually know something. Like for example if we are not speaking English where we can manage with our mother tongue and someone came and starts speaking English, the others also starts doing the same but why?
