IIPL INCREDIBLE PREMIER LEAGUE

 Around 10 crore people on an average are found glued to their television screens during an IPL match, across the globe, no surprises that this league has gained immense popularity and the fan following is incredible, I the culprit of the drop catch in the final of an IPL of my own bowling, want to share this with u all as, I felt that we were the runners up in the first edition of the IPL. 

I know what would be coming to your mind as who I am as most of us has witnessed the first IPL final and this wasn't the case in that, well you all are right but that doesn't mean I am lying I am sharing you a true incident. 

After completing my graduation from Noida IILM College (Electrical And Electronics) Engineering, in 2013, I started preparing for banking jobs on my own and besides that I had joined a coaching centre to teach some of the young minds, due to my friendly nature soon many students were like friends only they used to call me 'Sir' and I call them by their names some of them are still in touch with me, We started playing cricket by making a team. I was senior so I became the Captain everyone was enjoying their game and match by match we used to improve our skills as well, so the matches we used to play were on a road under the street light, with the leather ball with own set of rules like one tip one hand catch will be out direct shot out of the playing area that is outside the road will end the batsmen innings, initially we used to play individually which means one batsmen and a bowler and all other will be fielding, and numbering was there so that we could make who is first and then on. 

One day while playing an idea came in my mind that why don't we play IPL, I told everyone about this, idea everyone was excited and I told them how it will go , We made three captains include me others were Adarsh and Nitesh they were class 9 and class 8 students respectively, I told them suppose you have 10 points each and we will do a auction we will make team of 4 players in a team, so auction started the rules were one captain can spent a maximum of 4 points on a player and each player's base  price was set. So let me first give the pool of players we have at that time.

Dushyant, Adarsh, Nitesh, Aman, Aditya, Prince, Vipul, Manish,  Mohan, Nikhil, Naveen and Harsh(differently abled).

To give an insight of all these players I would start with Harsh who is a differently abled student, he used to watch us everyday playing and he turned up daily to the venue to watch us as we were short of players and we also want more players to come in we asked him to play with us initially he doesn't know to how to the hold the bat, but he  was the match of the match in final.

Naveen and Nikhil they were friends of Adarsh and in same class and but different coaching they have opted to study but for recreation they come with us daily and used to play in the team, initially they were not serious at all while playing but as the captain wants each player to contribute in a win so they have to perform eventually. Naveen later sold for maximum points in one of the teams later during the auction.

Aditya and Aman were the youngest of the players we have but Aman was the one who we all wanted him in our teams he was very serious player and want to make an impact always and his favourite player is Joe Root and favourite team is Australia, coming to Aditya was very notorious and joyful and always needs a scolding to perform.

Vipul and Mohan, I used to call Mohan as Prithvi Shaw as he as same instance and face too, Vipul and Mohan were brothers and they both were good and serious players. But Mohan was fatty and was difficult for him to field as he was unable to bent his back all the time during the match.

Prince was a very skinny boy and an intelligent one he doesn't turned up daily to play but whenever he got time he used to play with us, My enemy as had not dropped a single catch of mine during the event.

Nitesh and Adarsh were like two players from Pakistan and India teams and they were very competitive and want to win every game and for that they even had fights between them also we all had witnessed some were very serious, and while others were last only till the match goes on, they both are in touch with me now Adarsh is in College now and Nitesh  has finished his schooling recently.

And Me who was the always there to calm them down always whenever we had differences on a decision or conflicts among us, I used  to come exactly at 8pm from the coaching and until then they all, had started their practice, I still remembered those silver days of my life.

So the Auction Started first player was Aman to be auctioned, As Adarsh and Nitesh place their bids at 1 and 2 points respectively, I bid 4 points for him straightaway  and I got Aman in my team, then we go with Manish for him Adarsh placed 3 points and got his first player Nitesh got Vipul and unfortunately I have to buy Aditya as no one place bids for him, as he used to be very Notorious  during the match but we couldn't leave him also, as we have limited players, But I was confident As we Aman, who was a trump card for me always, then I tactfully buy Prince as he was a good fielder. Adarsh got Nikhil, and Mohan and Nitesh took Harsh and Naveen during the Auction.

So the Teams were like:

Dushyant, Aman, Aditya, Prince

Adarsh, Manish, Nikhil, Mohan

Nitesh, Vipul, Harsh, Naveen

As it was scheduled each team will face the other two teams twice and top two will play the final. So  total 4 matches were played by each team and eventually the top two played the final.

So the First match was between My team and Nitesh team and every stats were noted on a paper to keep a record of the same. So the toss happened and we won the toss and decided to bat first, as every match was crucial runs on the board and then bowling will be good for us was our game plan, we targeted only ten runs and if we could got Nitesh out early then Naveen and Vipul will be under pressure and we can easily get them, Harsh they won't expect him to win the match for them by Harsh as he wasn't that good in playing initially.
